About Stephen


"I was born and educated in England. I graduated in 1974 with a BA (Hons) degree. I took a further qualification in electronics engineering and followed a career in electronics design and computer technology.

Whilst in France, since 1995, my work has involved property renovation & caretaking, project management, translation & interpretation including negotiation.

I held the position of regional manager for the leading UK, French holiday cottage agency. My role was the selection, quality control and contract negotiation of French cottages. My clients were 'Agents Immobiliers', Gîtes-de-France administrators and private owners.

We live in rural Basse-Normandie, in the property we purchased twenty years ago."
